Seriously something wrong if the chef comes out twice on 1 night with a complains of 2 tables(co-incidence next to each other)……. Sorry but I still feel that someone has stole from me. Make this bubbly big-batch cocktail ahead of time for your summer gatherings. His first reaction was it defn smells not good.Īfter the chef came and said that there is defn nothing wrong with the dish I ask her if she would taste, she didn’t…Īfter we have send it back and wanted to leave they gabe us a 50% discount on the dish(that was by the way almost not touched)…. I felt so bad and before I could complain the Manager come and I ask him to smell. First we taste (after my remark) and then I said to my friend, no ways I am not going to eat this. both dishes smelled like rotton meat or even worse. Really enjoyable night with great food and drinks, would definitely be back. Once a table opened up they also moved us over to have our mains. Only downsides was that by the time our drinks had arrived we had already gotten our starters so just took quite awhile and service was a bit slow. We were stuffed after our starters and mains so unfortunately didn't get a chance to have dessert but the apple crumble cheesecake looked really good. My wife ordered the Tuna slider starters for her mains and although simple, were really good and fresh! The drink is named for its pinkish color, which is similar to that of a sunset over the ocean. It is made with just three ingredients: cranberry juice, grapefruit juice, and vodka. We also ordered the Kingclip which was the white fish of the night, also really well cooked served with a nice Atchar Veloute. DecemCocktails Advertisement A Seabreeze cocktail is a refreshing and easy-to-make summer drink. We then ordered the Tuna which was the game fish, really well cooked, nicely seared and the whole dish was very fresh. We asked the waitress whether the dressed oysters were knysna or saldahna oysters (two options available) and were told knysna however upon receiving them they were not knysna but were good nonetheless. We had oysters for starters which were really good. They've got a good drinks menu and have fresh fish on the menu. I would recommend phoning in and booking as we had to sit at the oyster bar as they were full. We decided to pop in for some seafood on a Wednesday evening.
